... Time out,
|
Casa Vacanza Buba is located on the Strait of Messina, built into a hillside above the steep Calabrian cliffs.
Here you can experience a very special panorama! Your view stretches from Europe's largest active volcano, Etna, across the Strait of Messina to the Aeolian Islands to the next volcano, Stromboli, and on up the Costa Viola to Capo Vaticano. |
After you have safely parked your car for the first time, you are probably already delighted and beside yourself with joy.
|
Only a few steps down separate you from your holiday home. A wooden door with small glass windows will arouse your curiosity. Behind it then opens up an approx.
100sqm open plan living space with kitchen and dining area, a spacious living area with fireplace as well as bathroom and toilet. Separated by large floor-to-ceiling windows, a 70sqm terrace awaits you. |
A staircase inside the house leads you down to the 3 bedrooms and a 2nd bathroom with shower and bathtub. From each room you have access to a second terrace built in Aeolian style and to the garden. An indescribably beautiful view is guaranteed from here, too. I would like to mention that you can also access this area from the outside.
|
A warm, friendly teak flooring awaits you in all rooms, tiles from Vietri and terracotta floor tiles and Calabrian ceramics from Seminara.
A small selection of books, a music system with CDs (Italian hits, perhaps) or a singing bowl for particularly atmospheric moments are at your disposal and are intended to make your holiday special. |
Seminara
A small village, about half an hour's drive away (here you can stop by "Enzo Ferraro" and pick up a souvenir or two).
|
Beautiful BeachesYou can find great beaches at Cannitello, Scilla or on the Ionian Sea, between Capo dell'Armi, Melito and Brancaleone.
|
Torre CavalloBelow Casa Vacanza Buba there’s the "Torre Cavallo", an ancient watchtower dating from the 16th century. A small path from the main street, Via Petrello, leads you there. It was only recently that some residents cleared it of scrub and thus made it accessible again. Have fun with the little hike!
|
Rossoterra
Signora Loredana awaits you with typical "bruschetta al pomodoro", refined with "Rossoterra" of course: that's what they call their tasty olive oil. With much joy, care and commitment, their son Herbert is now in charge of the production and marketing of the "green gold".

Casa Alessio

wandering among the centuries-old olive trees, discovering with all your senses the many qualities that you will find in the taste of the precious, naturally pressed olive oil. You will be accompanied by the scent of wild oregano, fresh forest air, happy birdsong, harmonious natural colours and much more. This trip is definitely worth it! |
